In the afternoon we have a visiting expert to inspire us with their work.

Callander Film Society
We run two programmes - Contemporary and Classic and members may join one or both.
The Contemporary programme costs £20, the Classic £9 and a combined membership for both costs £25 - less than £1.40 per movie!
Entrance is free to all members. Visitors and guests are welcome to every show (if seating permits) and tickets cost £4 at the door.
All members are encouraged to attend the AGM on 12 May at the end of the season. This includes a free film, wine and nibbles. All films are subject to availability.Programmes and membership applications are available from the library, the VisitScotland Information Centre and in the September edition of the Ben Ledi View. Stirling Whisky Festival

With 12th May 2012 now just under twelve months away, event organisers have officially launched the campaign to host the inaugural Spirit of Stirling Whisky Festival in the City’s Albert Halls.

The first ever Stirling Whisky Festival is the brainchild of two local businessmen, and more importantly whisky lovers, Stuart Campbell and Cameron McCann. This event will bring together the best in Scotland, Stirling and Whisky.
